Well it has been a week now that my rugrats have been in school, and I find that I am still having a hard time getting into a routine. I actually have to have a plan to bathe, feed and dress them, then carry it out. I might be getting the hang of it, although we did hit burger king today for lunch because I didn't remember to feed them in time. ( I know, I know, what kind of mom am I?) Hey at least they got something in their bellies before they were turned over to their teachers.
Now the big question is... what do I do with my 2 hours that I have on M-W-F? I keep thinking, a good book, movie, maybe give myself a manicure, pedicure or even a facial or spa treatment? But as I look around I see the 6 loads of clean laundry on the couch that needs to be folded and put away, the dishes need to be done, carpet vacuumed, dusting and...........hey, maybe a shower! That would be a nice treat.
By the way, I still get a pang on my heart strings every time I drop the kiddos off. Does it ever go away?
